About the founders

Lauren Swartz was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and is a 12th generation Texan. Her love of history for the city of San Antonio and all things spooky led her and her husband James Swartz to open up Sisters Grimm Ghost Tours in 2011. In 2012 they became authors of The Haunted History of Old San Antonio, which has become the best selling ghost book about San Antonio. Four years later they opened up Sisters Grimm Oddities Parlor inside of the most Haunted Hotel in Texas- the Menger Hotel.
